What is the Utoppia Referral Program?

The Utoppia Referral Program, also known as "Member Get Member," allows Utoppians to invite individuals to download and use Utoppia's App using their unique Invitation Code. Upon completion of a Successful Referral, both the Referring Utoppian and the Referred Utoppian receive monetary Benefits from Utoppia.

Is the Referral Program free?

Yes, participating in the Referral Program is completely free. There are no fees or costs associated with referring friends or receiving referral benefits.

How does the Referral Program work? What are the requirements for a Successful Referral?

It's super easy! Here's how it works:

Step 1: Share your referral code with your friends Step 2: Your friend enters the code during registration on Utoppia Step 3: Once their account is approved, they must complete the Referral Challenge Step 4: You both receive your rewards within 30 days! 🎉

Referral Challenge Requirements: The referred friend must accumulate a minimum total amount of USD 100 (one hundred US Dollars) in deposits or incoming transactions within 30 calendar days from the moment the account is opened (after account opening, from account approval date).

What types of transactions are eligible for the Referral Challenge?

Valid transactions (eligible transactions) include:

✅ Domestic ACH (Automated Clearing House) transfers (electronic transfers) ✅ Domestic wire transfers (bank transfers) ✅ International wire transfers (SWIFT transfers, cross-border transfers) ✅ P2P transfers (peer-to-peer, Utoppian to Utoppian transfers)

NOT considered valid (excluded, ineligible):

❌ Card withdrawals (ATM withdrawals, debit card withdrawals) ❌ Interest payments from investment accounts (brokerage accounts, Utoppia Plus interest) ❌ Withdrawals, reversals, or canceled transfers

What rewards do I receive for referring friends?

Standard Referral Program:

  • Referring Utoppian (you): Receives $10 USD (ten US dollars) for each Successful Referral
  • Referred Utoppian (your friend): Receives $10 USD (ten US dollars) upon completing the challenge

Both rewards are credited within 30 calendar days after the Referred Utoppian completes the USD 100 challenge.

Important condition: Both the Referring Utoppian's and Referred Utoppian's accounts must remain open at the time of payment. If either account is closed before the reward is credited, neither party will receive the benefit.

When will I receive my reward?

Once your friend completes the referral challenge (USD 100 in eligible deposits within 30 days), you will both receive $10 USD within 30 calendar days in your Utoppia accounts.

Timeline breakdown:

  • Friend opens account: Day 0
  • Friend has 30 days to deposit/receive USD 100
  • After challenge completion: Up to 30 additional days for reward credit

Maximum total time: Up to 60 days from account opening

How will I be notified about my reward?

We will notify you in the app when both your friend has completed the challenge, and your reward has been credited in your account.

Can I receive my reward in cash or transfer it to another account?

No, the $10 USD rewards will be credited directly to your Utoppia account. Rewards cannot be paid in cash or transferred to external accounts (other than your personal Utoppia account). Once credited to your Utoppia account, you can use the funds like any other balance in your account.

What is the Top User Program?

The Top User Program is an enhanced tier of the Referral Program that provides significantly higher rewards to active Utoppia users who regularly use multiple Utoppia products and services.

Top User Enhanced Rewards:

  • Referring Utoppian (Top User): Receives $35 USD total ($10 base + $25 bonus) per Successful Referral
  • Referred Utoppian: Receives $15 USD total ($10 base + $5 bonus) when referred by a Top User

These bonuses are cumulative with the standard Referral Program benefits.

How do I qualify as a Top User?

To qualify as a Top User, you must use at least 3 out of the following 4 Utoppia products or services during the calendar month:

  1. Crypto Payouts: Send at least one transaction through Utoppia's stablecoin payout feature
  2. Bill Payments: Successfully execute at least one bill payment through the Platform App
  3. Utoppia Plus Subscription: Maintain an active paid subscription to Utoppia Plus
  4. Prepaid Card Usage: Complete at least one purchase or payment using your Utoppia prepaid card (virtual or physical)

Important: Top User status is determined on a month-to-month basis. You may qualify as a Top User one month and not qualify the next if you don't meet the usage requirements.

How does Top User status work month-to-month?

Top User Qualification Process:

Month 1 (Activity Month): You use 3+ qualifying products during this calendar month (e.g., January)

Month 2 (Eligibility Month): Based on Month 1 activity, you become a Top User for all of Month 2 (e.g., February)

Example Timeline:

  • January 2025: You use Crypto Payouts, Bill Payments, and your Utoppia Card (3 products)
  • February 2025: You are now a Top User for the entire month
  • Any Successful Referrals in February: You receive $35 total, your referred friends receive $15 total
  • March 2025: Your Top User status depends on your February activity

Key points:

  • Status is evaluated monthly based on prior month activity
  • You must re-qualify each month to maintain Top User status
What are the exact Top User rewards?

For Referring Utoppian (Top User):

  • Base reward: $10 USD
  • Top User bonus: +$25 USD
  • Total: $35 USD per Successful Referral

For Referred Utoppian (friend of Top User):

  • Base reward: $10 USD
  • Top User bonus: +$5 USD
  • Total: $15 USD when referred by a Top User

Payment timeline: Same as standard program - within 30 calendar days after the Referred Utoppian completes the challenge, provided the Referring Utoppian maintained valid Top User status during the Top User Eligibility Month.

Can I check my Top User status?

Yes, you can verify your Top User status in the Utoppia app. The determination of Top User status is made exclusively by Utoppia based on your transaction and usage records.

To qualify:

  • Review your usage of the 4 qualifying products during the previous calendar month
  • Ensure you used at least 3 of them
  • Your Top User status will apply to the following month
How many friends can I refer?

You can invite as many people as you want - there is no limit on invitations.

Where can I find my referral code?

Your referral code is available within the Utoppia app. Simply go to the Referrals section and share the code you see with your friends.

Each Utoppian receives a unique Invitation Code upon account opening, which can be shared with individual contacts.

Can my referred friend also become a referrer?

Yes! At the time of account opening, Utoppia will provide the Referred Utoppian with their own unique Invitation Code. Your referred friend can then share this code with their own contacts to also become a Referring Utoppian and receive Benefits, following the same Terms and Conditions.

This creates opportunities for everyone to participate in the program.

What happens if the wrong referral code is entered?

The Benefit will be granted solely and exclusively to the holder of the Invitation Code that was registered at the time of the Referred individual's account creation. The code must be entered correctly at registration. Utoppia cannot retroactively apply referral codes or transfer Benefits.

What happens if my account or my friend's account is closed?

Critical requirement: It is an exclusive condition to receive the Benefit that both the Referring Utoppian and Referred Utoppian own active accounts with Utoppia at TWO specific moments:

  1. When the referral is made (when friend registers with your code)
  2. When the Benefit is credited (within 30 days of challenge completion)

If either account is closed at the time of Benefit payment:

  • Neither the Referring Utoppian nor the Referred Utoppian will receive the Benefit
  • All claims to payment of the Benefit are waived
  • No exceptions or refunds will be granted

This applies even if the challenge was successfully completed before account closure.

How long is the Referral Program active? (program duration, program validity, program end date)

Program Start Date: September 24, 2025

Program Duration: 365 calendar days from September 24, 2025 (until September 24, 2026)

OR until: 10,000 total Benefits are granted (Referral Benefit Cap Limit) - whichever occurs first

Auto-Renewal: The program automatically renews for additional 60-day periods until Utoppia, at its sole discretion, elects not to renew.

Important: Utoppia will inform participants when it decides to terminate the program.

Can Utoppia change the referral program terms?

Yes. Utoppia reserves the right to change, suspend or terminate the program at any time if extraordinary events occur. If updates are made, Utoppia will publish the latest version of the Terms and Conditions on www.utoppia.com or in the Legal section of the Platform App.

Your acceptance: By participating in the Referral Program, you acknowledge your unrestricted and unappealable acceptance of any modifications Utoppia may make. Participants expressly waive the right to make claims of any kind related to program suspension or termination.

Why didn't I receive my referral bonus?

Common reasons for non-payment:

  1. Challenge not completed: Your friend didn't accumulate USD 100 in eligible deposits within 30 days

  2. Ineligible transactions: The USD 100 included non-qualifying transactions (card withdrawals, interest payments, internal transfers)

  3. Account closed: Either your account or your friend's account was closed before the Benefit was credited

  4. Previous user: Your friend was already a Utoppia user before being referred

  5. Wrong code entered: Your friend entered a different referral code or made a typo

  6. Fraud detection: Utoppia determined the referral was non-genuine or violated program terms

  7. Still processing: Rewards take up to 30 days after challenge completion - check if 30 days have passed

What to do: If none of these apply and 30+ days have passed since your friend completed the challenge, contact customer support for assistance.

My friend says they entered my code but I didn't get credit. What happened?

Possible explanations:

  1. Typo in code: Your friend may have entered your code with a spelling error
  2. Wrong code: Your friend accidentally entered someone else's code
  3. Code not entered at registration: The code must be entered during initial account creation - it cannot be added later
  4. Friend was already a user: Your friend previously had a Utoppia account
  5. Challenge not yet completed: Your friend hasn't reached USD 100 in eligible deposits within 30 days
  6. Still processing: Even after challenge completion, rewards take up to 30 days to credit

Important: Utoppia cannot retroactively apply referral codes. The code must be entered correctly at the time of registration.

Solution: The Benefit is granted exclusively to the holder of the Invitation Code that was registered at account creation. There are no exceptions.

Can I refer someone who lives in a different country than me?

Yes, as long as the person you refer:

✅ Resides in one of the countries where Utoppia accepts clients (supported countries) ✅ Meets all other eligibility requirements (legal age, valid passport, etc.)

Your referral code works for any eligible person regardless of which supported country they live in. Both you and your referred friend can be in different supported countries.

Supported countries: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Ecuador, Mexico, India, Spain, Italy, Portugal, France, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, United States.
