Your investments and funds are held in custody by Alpaca Securities LLC, a registered U.S. broker-dealer, member of FINRA and SIPC. Actually we offer the Alpaca FDIC Bank Sweep Program as a sweep investment option for available cash balances in your brokerage account.

The annual rate varies and you will be able to see it posted in the app in the investments section.

The income is calculated daily and credited monthly within the first 5 business days of each month.

Depositing in the investment account involves investing in the financial market. This means that such an investment implies inherent risks for which Utoppia cannot be held responsible for any variations in the interest rates or returns provided.

Through the app, you can access the details and returns for your investments account.

Your interests are not subject to US tax withholding. It is the responsibility of each client to declare taxes in their country. Tax obligations vary by jurisdiction, and it is advisable to consult a tax advisor to understand the tax implications.

Once you request a withdrawal from your investment account, funds will be transferred to your USD account within 2 business days.

Withdrawals from the investment account (charge) are free.

With Utoppia Plus, you can send Same-Day ACH transfers completely free (no charge, zero cost). 

Normally, Same-Day ACH transfers cost $3 USD per transaction. As a Plus subscriber, this fee is waived and you can send as many Same-Day ACH transfers as you want at no additional cost.

Processing time: Less than 24 hours

Recipients: Any US bank account

Limits: Standard ACH transfer limits apply

Requirement: Must have active Utoppia Plus subscription

The Utoppia Plus Stablecoin Fee Reduction gives you a lower effective fee on all your crypto payouts. Instead of paying the standard 1.49% fee, Plus users pay an effective rate of only 0.99%.

How it works:

Standard fee for regular users: 1.49% (non-Plus rate, normal fee)

Effective fee for Plus users: 0.99% (reduced rate, Plus discount)

Your savings: 0.50% per transaction

The fee reduction is applied through a cashback mechanism:

At the time of your crypto payout, you're charged the standard 1.49% fee

This applies to all stablecoin types supported by Utoppia on all supported networks (Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain).

The 0.50% fee cashback will be credited to your Utoppia USD checking account within 30 calendar days after your eligible stablecoin payout.

Execute stablecoin payout → Day 0 (1.49% fee charged initially)

Cashback credited → Within 30 calendar days (0.50% rebate, up to one month)

The Utoppia Plus Stablecoin Fee Reduction program is valid for an initial period of 30 days from the launch date (December 26, 2025) and is automatically renewed for successive periods unless Utoppia decides to terminate or modify it.

Important notes:

As long as you maintain an active Utoppia Plus subscription and the program remains active, you'll continue receiving the reduced 0.99% effective fee on all your stablecoin payouts.

The fee will be automatically debited from your Utoppia USD regular account. In case you don't count with funds in the account, the funds will be debited from your investments account.

The process is very simple, you just need to go to your Profile, select Utoppia Plus and choose the option to Cancel Utoppia Plus subscription.
